Delicious Additions

One of my favorite things to do as Technology Specialist is to locate engaging and relevant resources for teachers to use with their students.  Eleven years ago when I started this job, this kept me busy but now it's almost an overwhelming task.  With the addition of Web 2.0 there are hundreds of tools for just about every task or curricular area.

To help me organize these resources for the teachers I work with, I created a Delicious account for our district http://www.delicious.com/SDRTechnology.  Delicious has allowed me to tag websites under several different categories and this has helped teachers find resources in multiple ways.  I created a page on our district webpage where a visual tag cloud is displayed as well.  Teachers can click on a specific tag and it directs them to our Delicious account.
